Do the race loop:

It's a ton of fun.
I'm with Manny, but we modify it a bit and cut out some climbing. Lazy: yes!
*preface. I barely know the trail colors, and the map sux. So if this works for you, great, if not, no hard feelings!
If there is room, park at the smaller lots across from the pond on rt. 24, it takes a long time to meander around to the upper lots. Unless you want to see more of the park, then drive on. Anyway.
Follow the fireroad left around the lake to the pavilion. (On the right will be the section of trail you'll finish on.)
*Ride around the pavilion uphill to the stream and cross.
*Go left up the fire road, which will split. (doesn't matter much it rejoins)
*Stay right. Shortly after is a left to a short section of optional singletrack that loops back to the fire road. Has some odd little sign hammered into the ground at the entrance, I think.
*This will finish near the top of green, there's a wooden bridge right there.
*We vary from the race loop here. (it goes down around green) Keep going up the fire road. In a few hundred yards or so will be a right, somewhat hard to see. It goes down then up, that's right off the road. It's a long, steep switchback climb, but it saves a longer climb going down green. Up to you.
*After the switchbacks is a left (I think right/straight is teal?). Little bit more climbing.
*Go straight across the fireroad onto short section of ST. Red, I think.
*Turn left uphill next. Loose rock, long climb.
*
Here's where the fun starts. Go across the fireroad again. This is yellow. Switchback DH (mostly) to the upper lot.
*Cross the lot diagonally to rejoin the trail, more fun DH.
*Stay left and go uphill. You can go right (which again is the race loop, but it's been muddy over there.)
*After it levels off, turn left (ought to be yellow). More DH!
*Essentially from here you stay on yellow, there will be two lefts. This loop is about five miles. If you want more, do it again. Or backwards. It's pretty hard to get lost, not that big a park and the fire road more or less rings the place.
I think this is correct:
