Looking for a new fork

Im looking to upgrade / replace the current fork on my Cannondale Trail SL 4 29er and has the SR Suntour XCR-LO 29 1.5" tapered fork.

Any suggestions on a replacement fork?

do you really want to spend $500 on a $900 bike, not trying to be a smart ass but what are you looking to accomplish with the upgrade?
sometimes its just better to ride a bike to death and save your coin for the next one

As someone who dumped $1,200 into a $600 bike I'm not able to answer that question buttt....if you like the frame and are happy with the bike. Go for it. Upgrading piece by piece is expensive but will get you exactly the parts you want until SRAM drops a budget eagle groupset and makes you rethink the entire thing.

I just picked up a used SID for $200 on ebay so there's deals to be had if you're patient and spend the time looking. You could also look at x-fusion for a lower priced new option. My Streat was only $350 new and would still be installed if i didnt want to convert to a thru-axle

Coming from a guy who replaced every single part on a $600 bike, save the money and get a full squish. Keep current bike stock for errand runs and such.

Suntour upgrade program
i like this as well - i have a suntour raidon and have been really happy with it. I rode a coil shock before this. when this thing takes a shit ill use the upgrade program to get the next up the line.
