Curious what people here are using for riding glasses. I have never ridden with any type of glasses but thinking about starting. I'm thinking the photochromatic ones since I'm usually going from full sun to full shade on MTB rides. Need good airflow because i'm a sweaty mess when i ride. I'll only wear them in the woods and don't want to break the bank so what does the hive recommend?

I have arnette sunglasses with MRY photochomatic prescription replacement lenses. Best thing ever.

I've been using Oakley Radar EV Path frames for a few years. Originally came with the Prizm lens, but purchased a replacement photochromic lens later to eliminate multiple pairs of eyewear. Use them a night too.

Glad I'm not purchasing now as the pricing looks higher than when I purchased.

I have been thinking about buying some glasses as well .I keep seeing " Glade optics " pop up on F.B ...they look good ...price seams good ...but I have not pulled the trigger yet . Anyone have any experience with those ?

I love me some Oakley Sutros. They’re not cheap but what is? I have a pair for sunny conditions and a low light for dark/trail/deep in the woods type conditions. For me, riding in the woods with dark glasses gets a little challenging and swapping lenses each time is a PITA so I just bought a second pair.

I dunno how big you guys think my bank is, but $200+ glasses that i'll likely lose or break? No way. Under $100 is what i'm looking for. Thanks for all the recommendations and i do see some that fit the bill. Maybe cheap, no-name Amazon ones are the way to go to see if i even like riding with them.

not the fancy photowhatever ones... but they're relatively cheap and comfy:

Tifosi photochromes as well. Pretty sure around $50 a year ago. Wish they got a bit darker in sun, but would buy again.

I've heard of people cutting their face from crashing wearing frameless glasses like those EVZeroes. I've been using the Oakley Jawbreakers for a long time and I'm a big fan.

How good can you see out of them? I’d say you missed a good free feed zone today. 😂

sorry, bills father wasnt a glassmaker, didnt see you in time 🤣

(was wearing my old scratched to shit flak jackets today anyways) also dont need snacks for an hour ride

Not with the sunglasses, but I have a pair of their photocromatic ski goggles. Good deal, but they are always a shade too dark for whatever the conditions are so I tend to only use them on the sunniest of days. For the cycling I use WileyX photochromatic glasses with no issues.

The Glade optics i am seeing know line are a consumer direct option...and go for @$100 depending on style/ options you choose...and they have photochromic lenses
