These showed up in my IG feed this evening...

The idea sounds good - shoes designed around a 3D scan of your feet. It seems they are mainly aimed at the roadie crowd, but they do offer an XC mtb version.

The prices however... Wow... let's just say I'm glad I was sitting down... and had already drank most of a bottle of wine when I saw it...

On the plus side, it makes me feel a little better about the Lake road shoes I bought... a little.

I have no doubt they probably feel great... granted, the idea of wedged cleats has not worked well for me... felt fine in the fitting stand... knees hurt like a MFer when I actually pedal on the road.
