Marty's Fat Fifty Feb 7th

perhaps a jorba membership would be required to participate in this (or highly encouraged) or entered into an extra raffle for being a jorbaphile? jorbite? jorboi - what is a member of jorba called?.......

It is not the short, it is the changing terrain. It was like The Shining riding the canal path with Mark on Monday. "All flat and no change in scenery makes ANDY go crazy". I welcome the change in elevation.

Yeah, the NJ section is like that. That's why we held the race in PA where the trail doesn't stay the same for very long.

After watching the video of the Fat Epic a bunch of times, this race, and then the price point of the Fatboy SE, it's getting very hard not to pick up a bike and get in on the fun.

the section of "patriots path" from tannersbrook up and over/thru the golfcourse in LV is rather rough no? I've bushwacked that section many a time and always come out of the woods saying "never again"

Other than that this is a good fun loop! Should illicit all sorts of stares from the antiquing 3' tall black leather boot crowd in chester on a bunch of fatties!

It's in really good shape this time of year but in the summer forget it. I did a bunch of pre rides on the course and the only area that is really bad is mile 12 (Bills Luncheonette) section of Patriots Path. This section has major Sandy damage and requires some hike a bike over trees. I'm gonna do some Pay Dirt and try to improve it before the event.
