New bug?

This is so weird - it is happening randomly at this point.
no specific device, browser.

I'm leaning towards a forum bug with their defense combined with our defense. (I didnt' do it?)

hang in peeps -thanks. it is making a difference in response and load.
 
I have tried everything I can think of, still a consistent blue screen when the “new threads” button is used. I makes the forum less useable.
 
Agreed. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Logged out twice… shut phone off.. logged on again. Nothing fixing the problem. No worries. Not complaining just reporting. Thanks for all you do and for this site.

While it has manifested randomly at my end, I've finally been able to get it to happen consistently.

When logged in using incognito mode, and not checking the 'keep me logged in' checkbox, it was redirecting to 'already logged in."

I then opened a new incognito tab, and logged in again checking the box, and the normal behavior returned.
So it def has something to do with session cookies.

I made a change in a bit of the defensive code on our side -

Please try using incognito mode (this gives a fresh browser environment every time you open a tab )
Log in, and let me know if the 'new posts' is now working

could also be called private browsing -

I think the next thing to do is go to "site settings" on you device and make sure it allows all cookies -
even 3rd party.

I found a couple other items - iPhone/ipad users, let me know if the site is not considered secure - its the '...' -> site info, when the browser control menu is visible.

I think you are on an iphone
Log.out, close the browser tab.
Then

To clear cookies specifically for mtbNJ.com on an iPhone without clearing your entire browsing history, follow these steps using Mobile Safari:
1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and tap **Apps**, then select **Safari** (or tap **Safari** directly on older iOS versions).
3. Scroll to the very bottom and tap **Advanced**.
4. Tap **Website Data**.
5. Use the search bar at the top to type mtbnj.com.
6. Swipe left on **mtbnj.com** in the search results and tap **Delete** (or tap **Edit** in the top right corner, tap the red minus icon next to the domain, and confirm **Delete**).
### Immediate Verification
1. Return to Safari and refresh the mtbNJ.com tab.
2. Verify that you are prompted to log back in, confirming that session cookies for the domain have been reset.
 
I'm still having some issues on the phone - My gut is that chrome is catching some cookies - and I haven't found a way to delete site specific data.

it is more around logging in/out. but the new posts button is working.

Did it, no change…. May I suggest, look at the date I started this thread and look at was changed a day or two before that date. I am on a bunch of forums and I am only getting this message on this forum.

Try a chrome incognito tab please.

Scroll to the top of a page, the control menu should appear - at the bottom in my case, but could be at the top.
Press the tabs view - it has a 3 on my menu

Fire up mtbnj and log in. Choose 'keep me logged in' -
