Traffic lights are easy. I see color, it's only certain shades of red/green that I can mix up.Red light is on top. Green on the bottom. Or red left and green right. And I was never asked by an attorney on the stand. And I had a few serious DWI with injuries that the defendant ran a red light (not like I witnessed that anyway, just responded to the crash).
NJ never even asked. A few cities in CT disqualified me immediately.
Guys I worked with knew I would call out light colored or dark colored car or clothing. Or use other descriptions when possible. Better than guessing it wrong.

Im slow on a bike and more people have been killed from drinking and driving than smoking and driving.
That could quite possible change with the usage rate now exceeding drinking alcohol.
