Talked to my brother in law today, who realyed a story about his BIL who crashed earlier this week.

He was riding at a quick pace and came across a low voltage wire hanging in the roadway. He didn't see it due to shade/shadows, but he hit it. The wire wrapped around his bike and stopped it, which of course tossed him. He broke a few ribs, and his clavicle in 4 places, and has a ton of road rash. Otherwise he's thankfully ok it seems.

He also busted his sworks frame and cracked his helmet in half.

Stay safe out there!

This may take some legal snooping, but he may be able to pin the cost of the new bike at least on the owner of the wire that he hit.
