New From Kenvil, and Medford

I am originally from Medford, but moved to north jersey for a job, after finishing a degree at NJIT. Figured i would check in, see if there is a chance to meet some people and get into more mountain biking.

i have lost 80lbs over the past 4 years since finishing college, and have just gotten back into cycling since it was my main form of transportation as a teenager. I am currently starting to train for my first triathlon, but mountain biking is becoming my true passion in cycling.

in terms of reaching good riding kenvil is perfectly situated: alamuchy north, deer park, stephens, mahlon, kittatinny valley, and lewis morris are all within a 15-20 minute drive. not to mention that the trail building is going to be starting in mine hill shortly...

the road riding is also great around here. you can cross rte 10 and ride all around roxbury w/o too much worry. a little further west and you hit chester. north is long valley and of course canada. all good.

so if you see a fat guy heading down the road wearing an obnoxious orange matchy-matchy ballerina suit (code for roadie lycra) with obnoxious orange bar wraps and equally obnoxious orange seat and tires....don't run me over. 😀
