You ok?You make too much sense
Stop! 😃
It is my God given right to become brain damaged if i want to... may have already happened.. but still...Can anyone please explain to me what harm there is in wearing a helmet? I mean really, I know people will make arguments about their freedom and choice, etc… but, come on, is it really that bad?
Can anyone please explain to me what harm there is in wearing a helmet?
California has speed traps on MTB trails to get the fines from folks with who will actually pay but lets criminals off with a hug and a stern talking to. NJ is just aspiring to be like California.Glad NJ is worrying about the big picture stuff. It's just another revenue stream on the taxpayers' backs. Wait till they have "friendly" enforcement stops on bike paths, beach areas, etc. And of course, making something illegal absolutely stops any and all from doing that thing because of course it's against the law.
You ok?
Helmet hair yo!!Can anyone please explain to me what harm there is in wearing a helmet? I mean really, I know people will make arguments about their freedom and choice, etc… but, come on, is it really that bad?
So helmet hair instead of wind blast hair. Pick your poison. Plus it’s OK to wear a half shell. I have this vision of you wearing your full face on the city bike🤘😂Helmet hair yo!!
No but really I never wore a helmet trying to rush to the train station right out of the shower. And I got hit by cars three times on that commute lol. Just wear the helmet y’all.
Let’s look at it another way. Someone with health insurance that has a $500,000 hospital bill for brain surgery and intense of care vs maybe $10,000 for a concussion. I’m exaggerating on the numbers but the insurance companies raise their rates over time to make up for the loss. Not non profit organizations (like most businesses). So tax payers (as to non insured people) and or folks that have to pay for health insurance are paying more.My wife's ER is full of people who hurt themselves and have no insurance.... We're paying for them one way or another... So if I'm paying, put your fucking helmet on stupid. Maybe it makes a percentage of the people who are/were unaware that they should be wearing a helmet reconsider.
I used to commute to the city and the half shell fits in most back packs. Unless you are one of those leather bound briefcase types 😁. But I get it 100%. People don’t like being told what to do and it’s their God given right…People don't like being told what to do. I always wear a helmet mountain biking, but I never wear one on a city bike. I would if I had to, but carrying one around would be annoying.
This probably more than anything. It’s always risky riding the road and many people are distracted or clueless behind the wheel. But still, wearing a helmet can’t hurt. It’s like airbags in cars. Doesn’t protect from everything but can help.Unfortunately it's just a bandaid for the bigger issue of having no cycling infrastructure. The higher ups "think" cyclists are dying because they don't have helmets on, and not because they're getting plowed by 12 foot tall 9 million lb 7 seater SUVs being driven by people staring at iPhones.
It's a she got raped? Well, what was she wearing scenario.
