Hey guys...I'm very new to Mountain Biking...I just bought a Cannondale F7, first bike I had in years! I've never really gone to any actual trails before but I'm hoping to get into it this time.

Anything good around Piscataway? I'm going to try to go to Six Mile this weekend maybe...and eventually to Chimney Rock if it ever stops raining.
 
I guess 6 mile is a good place to start, but wait until it really dries or you are going to get lynched 😉

Welcome aboard! There are tons of people that can lead you out at Six Mile or CR. If you are REALLY new you might want to get a few miles under your tires before you head to CR.

If you can try out a beginner ride at Allaire held every Tuesday night at 6pm great place for beginners to learn!

Even better next saturday (7/11/09) if you can make it down to Allaire join us for the Beginners Clinic AWESOME time to get some learning in with some great NJ MTB riders and get introduced to the JORBA crew.

I read about Allaire and I'd love to go there at some point, however it's kind of far, about an hour drive from my house. I don't get home from work till around 6 so I wouldn't be able to get there till 7 at the earliest assuming I leave right away and don't hit traffic. Maybe I'll be able to go on the 11th though. 🙂
