New To Downhill (Any Experienced Riders Out There?)

I've been mountain biking for ~4 years now on trails like Allamuchy and Jungle Habitat and picked up a Specialized Enduro at the beginning of this year in hopes of getting involved in some downhill biking.

Anyone interested in meeting up at the park and showing a new guy the ropes? I'm also located in Hoboken if anyone is interested in carpooling.
