NICA rider - ISO size small, mid-tier+ mtb for my son

he's officially into it, and asking me after every ride when he can get a new bike (I have him on an old beater i picked up cheap here last year to test the waters)...

he's 5' 2.5" right now. figure a Small will last him at least 2 seasons.

leaning towards a dual suspension because he's just going to have one bike for now and, new jersey. probably 29, maybe 27.5.
XC or Trail type bike, nothing too gnarly.

anybody's kid outgrown something recently?

In case your son has a growth spurt like my son did last summer and shoots up to a Medium I have a barely ridden Fezzari (Ari) Delano Peak full carbon with carbon wheels in Army Green available if interested.

I have a size small past generation (m.y. 2014-2015) S-works Epic 29er that's available. Really good condition and nice component spec. 95mm travel front and rear. Fork and shock went back to Spec a couple seasons ago for the full service - only been test ridden around the yard since then. I've ridden/raced it quite successfully throughout NJ trails.
