OFFICIAL: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread - WE TALMBOUT PLAYOFFS OVER HERE BRO

4 for 4, heading for 5 for 5.

Feel pretty confident in 6 for 6.
I forgot, I thought you were one of the people thinking the eagles were going to knock off the bucs... It was the rams....and ya I have to see Stafford not fall apart in a big game to believe it....They are so much better than the cardinals on paper... They banked everything on this season... They can't lose this game... Which is why I'm thinking they will

It was a great weekend. The Pats getting crushed was probably my favorite game. Then the Cowboys chocking was definitely second. Then that scumbag Big Ben going down with the Steelers in flames was icing on the cake.

Pat my hommies is back.

Chiefs / Bucs rematch in the SB.

omg stephen A this morning on first take....nothing better than him tearing apart the cowboys

and the cowboys deserve it...has to be one of the most talented rosters that always vomits in crunch time.....Dak vs GB, Romo in GB, Romo with the FG snap, 2007, etc etc etc....

This week will be the test for The Rams. If they beat the bucs then Utah will have to admit he was wrong. Lol. Arizona couldn’t do anything against the Rams D. Being down early really put the pressure on Kyler/Kingsbury and they couldn’t get out of their own way. I think they were exposed 4 or 5 weeks ago so the book was already out on them.
This is a long way of saying Stafford didn’t really have to makes any big plays, which isn’t his fault, it’s just a credit to the Rams D. We’ll see against Tampa.

If he goes out there....its the 4th quarter...and they either: A. have to make a game winning scoring drive. B. put together a 3-4min drive to protect a lead and ice the game.... where he has to convert a couple tough 3rd downs....THATS what the great QBs do. If he does that, ill be impressed and ill shut up...until then, hes in the "good" not "great" QB category.

I agree and I think we’ll see a scenario resembling that this week where he has to make a play

Keep moving the goal posts. There are exactly 0 quarterbacks that can win on their own without a great team around them.

A win is a win.
LOL...but you just said that a win ISNT a win and that a QB cant do it by himself.

I dont want to hear anything about great team...stafford has the most talented team left by a country MILE.

I have no dog in this fight, although I enjoy the back and forth. But, a great QB will put the team on his back and win a big game. Rodgers and Brady have been doing it for years. So I don’t think it’s moving the end zone as much as it’s, he just didn’t have to do much.

Part of this for me...as a Giants fan...and obviously hating dallas with a passion.....That wildcard game in 2014 lions/dallas. They are up 17-7 start of the 3rd quarter.....Then stafford throws a pick...tipped ball, not totally his fault, but gets dallas back in the game...they score...The lions got another FG....then Dallas gets a TD....THEN... 3 and out for detroit, then the lions get to the 50 and on a 4th and 1 stafford takes a delay of game, punt...., then dallas makes it 24-20...lions get the ball back with ~2.5 min left...Stafford gets sacked, fumbles...cowboys recover...but whoever recovered it fumbles and the lions get it back....Then stafford takes another sack and fumbles again, dallas takes a knee, game over. (was sweet watching Rodgers beat them the following week tho) And I dont want here that he had no talent...megatron, reggie bush, golden tate...plenty of talent on that team. He just vomited when that game got tight.

I'm really looking forward to Chiefs/Bills game.
That feels like it should be the Super Bowl.

Rodgers is proof it's not only on the QB. He only has been to the super bowl once and hasn't even ran into Brady in the playoffs.

A great QB is an asset but at this point every QB left is very very good. Tannehill is the only one I wouldn't kill for. It's not going to be decided purely by the QBs.
He did run into Brady, last year and he lost in horrendous fashion....terrible when Brady was throwing interception after interception... He was going 3 and out.... But Rodgers has also had some very pedestrian teams, and carried them thru some impressive playoff wins ...he is a true Mvp... Without him, the team is TRASH as we have seen time and time again when he is hurt....he carries that team all over the place... it's not enough for a superbowl win...but he is 12-9 in the playoffs... This is a totally different level than Stafford at 1-3.. Hell Rodgers is something like 23-5 vs Stafford.

For as talented as Rodgers is, he should have more than 1 super bowl win, but he also chooses to milk green bay for every penny and his team suffers as a result

Forgot about last year...I mean in the 15 years of NFC free Brady. He should've at least found 1 or 2 more NFC championships in that time if it wasn't for McCarthy ruining his prime.

Stafford is a no doubt top 10 QB. I have him in the 6-8ish range depending on the day. It made a ton of sense to upgrade from Goff and it's already paying off for the Rams. He probably won't win the SB but he's not trash like you suggest he is.
im not saying hes trash....Trash is (at least how they played this year) darnold, bridgewater, mac jones, DJ, Big ben, Newton, Heinekee, Mayfield, Lawrence, etc, etc....Stafford is "good"....top ten? ya I guess so...I mean there is ALOT of garbage playing QB in the NFL

Great: (in whatever order)
Mahomes
Brady
Allen
rodgers
burrow
ill throw in russell wilson, his team is garbage, but he carried them and hes had some impressive wins over the years
Herbert although my god did they have some BAD losses, but chargers

id put stafford in that next tier with Derek Carr, Prescott, lamar jackson, matt ryan. Hes good...but I hear people talking about him like hes on the same level as the greats and im sorry...NFW!...id take him over DJ, but not at 135M for 5 years and losing 2 1st rounders tho...NOPE. Im telling you @cassinonorth if he was on that giants team this year, you would have wanted him taken out back and shot like an old mule, trust me.
