It's an absurd trade on both ends for sure. Jets won't be better with Fields and Bears will be drafting their new QB in 6 months, why would they want that future XFLer on their roster?

As a Jets fan, I just want competitive football. It’s rare that the jets give me that. That I can actually blame a few bad calls for not having a chance at the end is a victory itself lol. If the defense played as well as they talk, we may have won that game.

Past 2 decades I would refer to the j-e-t-s as east coast raiders, the teams pretty much mirror each other. Honestly have not sat and watched a game since 2018 which coincidentally is when I stop drinking haha.
Any game watching is YouTube highlights and only sad sack raiders. And only if they win which isn't often. Jets were always my second team if that's such a thing because my poor dad is a jets fan.

Only to trade him away after 2 games, start the last pick in the entire draft and have him backed up by the former #2 overall pick of the jets.
