Well truth be told, the guy I was riding with, didn't want to get his feet wet. I went into the deep, turned around, and found I was alone, so I went back. Thinking I'll show him. Took him to the roller coaster trail. 6 short, but step, hills in a row. I asked him if he wanted to go first since he had multi gears, and I was on a fixed gear. His reply was, I don't want to be here. So, that's that. BTW, I still struggle on hill #2. Made it 3/4 of the way up. The erosion adds to the fun of it.

Crossed over to Forked River Mountain from Greenwood. Didn't stay long. Found a nice cool stream to cool ourselves off. then back to the parking lot.

This small walk way off cr 539 not marked at all. It goes around a bog. Me, I just wanted to find it, I did, don't need to see it again. Got in a 20 mile ride.

Well we started and finished in Greenwood, but in the middle we went to the top of The Forked River Mountain. Coming off the Mountain we took a single track for about 3 1/2 miles, and maybe the hardest trail in the pinelands.

Wells Mill has it's own parking lot on CR532. You can go to FRM by crossing the street. On the other side of Forked River Mountain Preserve on CR539, has a large dirt lot for parking on the Greenwood side of the road. Small came hunting is still going on till March 14 in Greenwood, so Sunday would be your best time there. As far as documented trails, Wells Mill has some marked trails, but I never been on them. FRMP has little single track and fire cuts, mostly roads. However, the County has just bought a lot of land, so something maybe going on that I don't know about.

Started out from Bullock, headed up the Quail trail to 539. Crossed over by the fire tower fire cut. With my friend. Saw this smashed car on Bryant and 539. then a boat then a small pond to this lake Then back over 539 and back to Bullock. 21 miles.

I'm surprised that no one has yet to combine that boat, and that car, to make something unique.

I love the *RoadKill* creations that are sometimes seen in the pines. An old tall tired Subaru w/ a large (full?) aluminum skid plate/water board underneath. Or that old black & white cop car w/ tall off road tires, roof basket, and hole in the hood where the top of a large turbo poked out. Good stuff.

Another day in the Greenwood WMA, 6/20/20. Made my way to the east side again, took a fire cut up a ridge, close to 2 miles long. Then back to Bullock. 21 miles.
I was thinking of doing the 100K pine lands in the summer ride this year, but things have not been going our way. However, if anyone would like to do this, I could whip one up real quick. The last 5 have been on the Saturday after the beginning of summer. That's next week. July and August can work. Speak up if you're interested.
