Spent a weekend like many in the southern ADK and have only seen one person, @JDurk mention this trail system, when searching.
Peck Hill is a very raw almost rake and ride set of trails. Nothing too technical but not too much flow. As soon as you start picking up speed you have to shut it down quickly to turn with lots of undulating terrain. This make you have to be pushing constantly and no high average speeds are to be had. Totally worth it to test your grit and constant push.
Farm Trails which are across the street are even tighter, more raw but not with a lot of tech roots and some rocks.
All these trails can be accessed from Stump City brewery which has a trail head from the parking lot. They have a Wednesday no drop group ride from the brewery (unsure of time). From what the brewery owner has said they have dreams of creating more trails as property is available to be used and hopefully connect up to wheelerville somehow to make a large route.
I like these trails a lot but they are not for everyone. It’s constant on the gas. Try em if your up there.
