Hey All!

I was asked by a few riders to post up info on the thumb leverage thingies (Togs) I had on my handlebar.

Here is the link. www.togs.com

I like them- not life changing but I feel they do what they were intended to do- best part they make my bike look bad ass,

Have them on 3 bikes. The pair on the SS probably gets used the most.

What is the type of benefit that you get from having them on your bike? I remember reading about this a while ago but can't think of it...

I used to be a big SS'er so I rocked bar ends way longer than most- I missed the leverage I got from bar ends but bars got way too wide and I didn't liked getting hooked and thrown! HAHAHA. The things give me a similar feel to bar ends when climbing.

Looks like they let you vary your hand position on the bars ever so slightly. Sometimes on long gentle climbs i slide my hands inboard and essentially lay my hands on the area of brake master cylinder to get the pressure off my palms (which leads to numbness) but its easy for the bars to go haywire on a bump. Looks like these can permit the same but retain some bar control?

It's recommended to keep them loose on the bars. I rotate the positions of them quite a bit while riding.
