Post Your Doggo [woof]

New foster day! We pulled the whole family, all 21 of them. It wasn’t quite a hoarding deal, more very irresponsible owners with multiple unspayed dogs.

We still haven’t picked a name but she’s about six months old, 30 pounds, and the most backyard farm dog mix you could imagine.

She’s extremely sweet, gets along with our three dogs and is glued to Isabella. She has adapted immediately to the indoor couch lifestyle. 😁 They are all in quarantine for the week but if you go on the Cold Nose Warm Heart Facebook page you can see their story. major kudos to you and the family for always doing this type of stuff. amazing.

I love dogs too much I'd never be able to let them go.

Our first was really hard. She and our dog loved each other and we had her for like 6-7 months. We just had to say we're fostering dogs, not hoarding dogs! It gets easier although every now and then a really special pup comes along that is hard to say goodbye to. But every foster we have is one more dog we can pull and every little bit helps. A lot of people say it would be hard, and it is, but it's very worth it.

Enough preaching. Who wants to see puppies? We brought most of the Mission 21 crew to puppy yoga in Randolph (the Good Life studio if interested). It was absolute chaos but so fun. Everyone had a great sense of humor (I mean, puppies, you know?) and had a blast. It was both weekend days and Sunday one of the volunteers brought a bunch of little footballs and the dogs performed a credible Puppy Bowl. Lots of donations and hopefully some applications come along.
Oh it looks empty because I was taking pics between sessions. It was packed.

Some of you may have heard but One Step Closer Animal Rescue in Andover had a severe fire and sadly a number of dogs did not make it out. They are currently seeking donations for vet care and housing but there may be foster care needed. There are rumors that some dogs might have been let loose and may still be in the area. Really sad situation.
Edit: the latest post says they have accounted for all the dogs that were in the shelter.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

came here to post this as well very sad but if you look at the gofundme it really shows how there is still some good in this world.

sad for the dogs that passed but glad the rest were recovered and no one was seriously injured.
