The Wall Township Planning Board is considering four proposed projects to address the township’s obligation of creating 650 affordable housing units. One of the proposals includes a new neighborhood of 600 to 750 housing units to span 155 acres at the former Brisbane Estate off Atlantic Avenue. This area is a vital and sensitive natural resource that could formally be developed as a destination for multi use trails, hiking, mountain biking, equestrian activity, birding and forest bathing. The land is in close proxmity to Allaire State Park and could be added to the existing natural resource and protected indefinately.
