Overthinking the draft from the basement already

Holy hell. A flammable refrigerant.
Why not use propane....

While I have a leak, may as well burn the truck to the ground and collect the insurance.

Thought it was the liquid line but was a bad clue. We will see.

Why would this be allowed? Not like there's a risk of leaking after an accident or anything like that...

Relax - it's only mildly flammable under certain conditions. We have a cyclopentane freezer in the basement.

Cyclopentane is not a fluorocarbon - no worries there. Will just burn like any other hydrocarbon
It'll just help burn your house down a lot quicker, or greatly accelerate that door project/kitchen renovation you've been putting off.

Don't ever have natural gas or propane in your house. Far more dangerous!
Tell me about it.. Everything is electric here (55+ Community), and even then your house can still burn. The bottom line is all about understanding your odds, and managing your risks. If you're going to go and do something stupid at least have someone standing far enough away to call 911.
