Reliable SUV under $20k

My son’s 19 year old Land Rover needs to be replaced. He lives on a shitty street to park so whatever we get will look like crap in a matter of time. Anyone selling anything?

BTW this is the first repair estimate over $1k ever for this car.

Well it has some electrical issue that they can’t search until the cooling fan that just died is replaced. They want $1568 for that.

We have our two, nice daily driver cars and an '07 CRV. While it still has it's occasional $500 repair job, our mechanic said it's a Honda, it will last forever.

Repairs and maintenance on it has been by far the least we’ve ever paid on a car. It’s also the only car I ever said yes to the extended warranty figuring we’d need it. Never even got to use it.

Bridgewater Kia has a ton of stuff under 20K. Paul Miller VW does if you want to go German. The CRVs are easy to live with but not sporty in any way without the hybrid motor.

I donated 3 cars to them. But then read more about the organization and the last two cars instead went to veterans. Thought the donations were going to general kids programs. Do your own research.
