Retrofitting Motor on Fat Bike

Anyone have luck with this? Only looking for a pedal assist motor on my Farley. Also don’t need the biggest motor posible.

If you're not riding tech with a chance banging the motor the Bafang mid drive units are your economy options
Yeah, I think those first two options are going to be a bit out of the realm of possibility. I’ll definitely be riding in the woods, but nothing technical unless there’s a downed tree which I’ll be smarter about it and actually walk over.

I'm also considering a rear hub build this winter. Have all the parts just need to build the wheel. Though I'm not sure what's available for 190 or 197mm. Mine is just a plain QR 29r with studded Nokians.

Now that’s the way to go. But why carbon? Just shoots the price sky high for a rigid bike.
Well you could go with this….. it’s a class 3 though…

Ari bikes has knocked a grand off their full power e fat bikes….

I have this, but not really a fan right now. Currently troubleshooting an E914 error with the Shimano EP801 motor. From what I read online, there isn't a specific fix other than swapping out parts and hoping for the best.

If you want to sell, lmk. I’ve had good ep8 luck, so that’s unfortunate.

Do you have E-Tube Project and the tool?
