Maybe I misunderstood the type of 'fat' ride...I'm definitely not underqualified for that!I might have a little left over fat from the holidays, but my tires are skinny, do I quality???
With the extra snow we got today, anything less than 3.0 tires might be a tough go.I might have a little left over fat from the holidays, but my tires are skinny, do I quality???
Bro… I’ve seen your Strava. Those aren’t MTB trails. Talk to me after you’ve made it up white on 2.4 tires. 🤣I’ve been riding all week on 29 2.4 under the same depth/conditions and no problem. If your plans change I am riding Sunday morning @a.s. My usually pace, consistent with no stops
Buddy of mine and I were thinking the exact same time and place. We’ll look out for you.Ryerson school at 11:45am… hitting the snow at noon. Hope to see some of y’all there.

Granted they are only cross country trails where I live but should be similar snow conditions(still fun). I don’t like riding up white even when it’s dry(more fun riding down it). I’ve ridden Ringwood throughout most trails over the years in snow on regular mountain bikes as long as the trails are frozen(sometimes easier as the snow smooths the trails out - but depending on conditions/type of snow). There is a 3” base and very grippy down here in the valley. I consider that magic snow. Let me know how the conditions are at Ringwood. Have a great ride🤘Bro… I’ve seen your Strava. Sunday is for snowboarding. 🏂
I bet Bailey is having more fun than any humans there today. It looks powdery/loose in the pic Leo. Are there packed down areas on the single track?I hiked warm Puppy and Ramapo-Ringwood reroute. Get some, Bailey the mischivious trail dog recommends it…

Yes, most definitely rideable. I went up and down Warm Puppy and it’s fine. I did ride it on my SS with 2.1 tires back when I had muscle tone back in 2021, similar conditions. There’s not a ton of it so if you sink it’s just slightly. I think these are the best snow riding conditions I’ve seen in Ringwood. No snowmobiles though in this part of the park, not sure if the gas pipeline has been groomed, that is a fun line! Get some before the quads ruin the whole park digging their ruts.I bet Bailey is having more fun than any humans there today. It looks powdery/loose in the pic Leo. Yeah Craig was rippin. He was well ahead of me (as were the others) 😁Nice to see a non fat bike in the group(we can all co exist in harmony 😁). That’s Craig. Probably was the fastest one
