Somewhere near route 91

After you mentioned it previously, I followed their IG account. Some serious shit going on over there.
My father in law lives a half hour away and somehow I haven’t been able to ride the new satans ridge trails. But existing trails were great as well. Legit felt like Vermont.

So I found myself back in this area and In the saddle after a long hiatus. Man, I feel like a beginner now haha

Anyways, I saw maybe 1/8 of this park. What I saw was pretty wild. Chutes, tight berms, drops,

I just wished my brakes worked lol on this new ride. I walked like half the downhills because my brakes were screeching like all the time and no bite. What’s cool was the river by the parking and you can swim after. Lots of people tubing down it.

@Jmann
Which parking lot is better to start? Litchfield turnpike or ramp road?
Sorry, just saw this. Looks like you parked at ramp road, which I prefer. Litchfield turnpike is fine, just a little further from the best stuff.

I got there once this year, and as I got to the end of ramp road there was an entire bear family chilling. I had my dog with me so I had no choice but to turn around.

I rode at Rockland yesterday from the Durham Rd lot, and stuck to the trials near there (East loop, Thunderdome, Beyond Thunderdome, Dirt Church) these trials are in good shape, and look to be well maintained. Good flow in spots, and also plenty of fun/challenging rock features (rolls, drops, kickers, etc.). Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
