First tree was cleared enough to duck under but still needs to be cut. Do not ride Sourlands until we have a few dry/sunny days. It's SLICK! Had to avoid a lot of the fun rock lines today bc too dangerous. Also, FYI, seems the ground wasps are very active (which seems early to me). 3 separate stings at different points today: by Marker 6 and somewhere in the middle of 3 Amigos. Happened when we stopped to regroup so keep moving!

There's another tree down on the Bouldering Area Trail. It could probably be cleared with a hand saw but there's quite a lot of it.

The tree that was obstructing the trail in the Montezuma rock garden has been taken care of.

It was nice to see that the Lower Trail had been heavily trimmed all the way to the dam; beyond that the Outer Trail is getting overgrown.

Went out yesterday and raked off less-than-obvious entrances and exits to A lines on Tres Amigos/montezuma. I only encountered two downed trees; one at the ride around that hikers hate on roaring rocks and the other at the end of the connector trail close to the bridge/rock wall. X marks the spots on the map attached.

Thanks, Chris! Reported to Rangers.

Thanks for the raking Chris, i easily spotted the lines today, and hit them going both directions🙌🏻. You rock

Although I didn’t rake it out to showcase it, the line at 2:00 in Manny’s review video of Sourlands is still fully rideable. That skinny is starting to decompose a bit on the entrance, but the whole line is there!
