I didn’t eat at a place like the Union League.

But my family and I did visit our favorite local icecream shop last night after dinner. 🙂

They offer a multitude of flavors, both traditional and more exotic, including some south asian varieties like thandai and gulab jamun.





I ordered a scoop of fig ice cream and we also shared a slice of cassata, layers of ice cream over sponge cake.





And then we took turns taking pics on their photo op couch. 🙂
