RAP also has a print out to determine thread pitch - https://robertaxleproject.com/what-axle-do-i-need/Robert axle project has axles that are referenced by bike - if you can go that way.
They post the tech specs -
probs do come up if they have two different axles for the same bike....
do you have the old one? pop into post h/w are thread it onto a couple different nuts?
I may have a pitch gauge.
Yeah, I've been using them. The rear axle was lost, and the axle from my Carver doesn't fit, and Carver's not on the RAP database. I'll try the axle from the Niner next. It's likely either 1.5 or 1.75Robert axle project has axles that are referenced by bike - if you can go that way.

Why? I'm pretty sure the axles for the Carver and Niner are not swappable so likely one is 1.75. btw, this is for a road bike if it matters.it’s likely NOT 1.75
They are actually 1.5, like more than half my bikes. The Niner is 1.75 so maybe 1.25 or 1.0 are less popular? My bikes are a few years old so YMMV.Sorry, I meant likely NOT 1.5. Edited.
1.75 (and 1.25) if M12- is much more common in general.
That comes out to about 1.5mm pitch.Today I learned… thanks for the follow up
LOL 16-2/3 TPI try cutting that from scratch
