Trail Maintenance - Wednesday September 16th at 6pm.
Lets try this again shall we????? 😀
We will be having a trail maintenance session on Wednesday September 16th at 6pm. We will meet at the house on Middlebush Road, next to where the trail crosses the road. The grass is a bit long in the driveway, but we'll be ok. Since its getting dark early now, this will be a short session and we'll work until we run out of light.
We will have some tools available, but if you have a shovel, stiff garden rake or a hand saw, or hand sheers, bring them along. We will need to cross the stream, so be prepared for wet feet.
We will be repairing a muddy section by raising the trail tread, trimming some overgrowth, and fixing some damaged trail near the stream crossing.
Wear long pants and long sleeves, bring bug spray. Poison ivy is everywhere.
