Trails over your head or above your pleasure threshold

I think your thinking of the skinny after road to know where drop
yes, thats the one I was thinking of....the other ones are uphill as I recall...they seemed that way while I was walking across them 😂

Scariest thing at Creek is the George rock on Ripper, not gonna do it ... nope. Old Outlaw used to make my ass pucker up too.
Im not familiar with that one, but if it has George's name on it, im sure its intense

I don't know if it's still there but Victory was another trail that scared the hell out of me every time I rode it. Especially in the rain.

Victory is kinda there if you know where to look off Greenhorn, the off camber steep goods are still ridable.

Old Outlaw that just went straight down the back side of the hill? You can still kind of see that. Definitely a really steep section, not sure I ever rode that.

I'd say it's more often this. At Ringwood there's the big open rock face section then a switchback downhill-ish. (Yeah, I suck at RW). Anyway, the switchbacks have sprouted an alternate tech line now. Back in the dropper-less, 71 degree HA hardtail days the main line was challenging enough.

Assuming it is Warm Puppy, is this alternative line you're talking about on the right of the main trail at the top of the switchbacks (going down hill that is)?

Yea thats the one I'm thinking of. If you look on the right near the bottom you can see where it comes out

I’m familiar with it, kind of awkward to get in and out as it ends at a right angle with the trail. I’ve done it a couple of time just to say I did it but didn’t really enjoyed it.

The older I get, the more I'm liking buff singletrack over hard rocky terrain, anybody else feeling this way?
I'm more along the lines that I used to seek out only the rocky stuff. Now it's pretty equal. The smooth stuff is much better than it was say 10 years ago.

The stupid gravel road climb at the Tourne is above my pleasure threshold, the gravel sucks the energy away. By far the scariest feature there.

When both wheels are more than an inch off the ground..that's scary. Then again, this is not any sort of regression...I've always felt out of control in the air. Dead Sailors Society member.
