Tuesday Night beginner Rides.

Sorry folks as I was on my way down to the park the skies opened up at that point I figured it better to call it.

It was better to call the ride off than to have a group out there getting soaked and cold. Next time!

No Rain At Allaire...

Finally made the group ride today, and had a very nice time and good ride too. Got to see parts of the park that I've never seen before, I usually get down 10 mins too late. Very nice pace that even a beginner like myself had no problems keeping up. I have 1 question to anyone who rode with today's group, did anyone Strava or MapMyRide the route? Strava crapped out on me today, never had problems before. I just like to keep track of my rides/miles when I do ride. If so, can you please post link...Thank You. I rode the Trigger 29er

Brian uses the garmin app and posts that link to his FB page but I will ask him to post it here if that will help.

glad to see you finally made it on time, and had fun. my file was combined with my earlier ride so the map won't help much (you can use the player function, the ride starts at mile 19, and the stats are on lap 2). i think i know of someone who might have just the file for the ride and i'll reach out to him.

Thanks for info...

Thanks for the ride info, it sure did not feel like we rode 9 miles Tues. It sure pays to ride with someone or a group as I did, you don't even notice how far you've riden. I'm still kinda shocked, I figured 6-7 the most, didn't feel tired at all. The little climbs we did, I probably would've walked them if I were by myself, but having the rider in front of me who was about 60ish made my big butt push myself harder. Also, I'm amazed to have talked to people my age 40's that do downhill. God bless them, maybe one day I'll give that a try just to experience it. But for right now I have to seriously work on avoiding the trees. One last thing, is that the normal route that is taken or it changes from week to week? I will be back again....on time 😛

Glad you enjoyed it the route changes a bit from week to week and as it stays light later and peoples skill levels go up we visit more of the park..
