One of the modifications we made to the forum software was to reference all users with the @ notation.
The patch replaced the file with the modification, and the quick reference will only go back to users active in the last 180 (or 365?) days.

ie
@Maurice doesn't show in a pop-up box - but does link after the post

I see them on my window box/edge too.

perhaps the .css is different? I know they want to use the "native" image/font
