Anyone know anything regarding this?
A former Fe occurrence/mine in magnetite ore located on Warwick Mountain, about 1½ miles south of the Village of Warwick. One of the Warwick group of mines. Ore body was 2 to 8 feet (.6 to 2.6 meters) thick and over ½ mile (> 800 meters) long. Workings included cuts and shafts.
Also known as the Warwick Mine and/or the Warwick Uranium Mine. Ramapo Uranium Corporation was organized to mine this deposit in May, 1956 and filed with the SEC to sell stock on August 13, 1957. The project never got past the exploration stage although a small amount of ore was produced.
