I have moved these to a new forum.
The Olympics
Recently I've started unfollowing any news/account that talks about any of the presidential candidates, and have started following nothing but Olympic coverage. This has been a really good thing for a few reasons. First - it removes me from caring about something I have no control over. I recently took the advice of someone who suggested to focus on the smaller things in life, and care less about the big things. This has been a great bit of advice for me. Anyway, my IG feed is really positive now. I like it.
I watched the women's MTB race yesterday and it was excellent, even if the announcers sucked.

People still blog.
If you want to get in on the discussion about what your first bike was, that's the place to do it. Of when you first recorded to Strava you can check in there. Or if you want to check in on this year's 31/31 challenge, there's a lot of stuff there as well.
I don't remember my first bike. I have Strava stuff going back to 2007 and my amplifier goes to 11. And I skipped this year's 31/31 challenge as it did not work for me.

A proposed bike park in Arkansas. I didn't read too much on this. It came from a lift blog (ski-centric) that I read. Seems like it is firmly in the political realm at first glance.
Pinkbike Podcast: Why did our bikes get so big? Have not listened but I plan to this week.
