Weird woodworker request (more "heavy machinery" than "fine work")

About 2 years ago, we had to remove a weeping cherry on our property that was a childhood memory of my partner. I asked her if it would make it easier if we saved a piece of it to make into something, so here we are.

I'm looking for someone who can process a 24" wide/6" thick section of trunk into two 24"x~1.5" thick pieces. I have all the tools necessary to build it into whatever configuration desired, but not the heavy equipment to do the above. Rough cut (chainsaw mill) is fine.

I haven't checked it recently (I'm sure it's not dry enough yet)...just starting the looking process.
