The 3rd. 40 mile ride to Batsto, will be this Saturday, 1/9/10,@ 8:00am. This is a group ride. So there is no turning back. Bring food, water, & all the other stuff that makes you self sufficient. Meet at Carranza memorial. call 609-280-0111 ---Jim

3 of us headed out in the cold Saturday to do our 3rd. 40mile ride in Wharton. The trails had a light covering of snow, and traction was good. We worked our way from Carranza to Batsto, over some small ridges, Mount Dev., and over to the Orange trail. Got off the Orange trail at Penn Swamp, and worked our way to Mount, then Batsto. Had lunch; My top three sections of Wharton are Devious, Jamima, and the Blue trail. So we rode the Orange, onto the Blue, back to Mount, Jamima, then home. Do yourself a favor, go to Batsto, and ride the trails that Kurt and company have made. You wont be dis appointed.---Jim
