I rinse it down with the hose if it's visibly dirty. Otherwise, this is what I do, after every ride.
Wrong, washing the car thins the paint thickness which in return promotes rust anc the car falls apart. Change my mind.A clean car last 37% longer

@JonF the Meguiars car wash and wax products are very good.
I have been curious about getting a sprayer for the cold weather months as it is a pain to use the outdoor hose. I have a short section of hose I use now that I take off and drain after use, maybe I will just get a longer one and attached it to the slop sink so I dont have to use the outdoor faucet
Bought one of these last winter once I had the gravel bike which needs cleaning more regular.![]()

I've seen and been intrigued by a number of bucket based pressure washers over the years. Dewalt, greenworks and other legit tool brands have them, some with the pump integrated into the bucket and some with it in the gun (and u use whatever bucket, pond, puddle ,etc) water source. If i could find another legit use for one beyond the bike, i might justify it.@JonF the Meguiars car wash and wax products are very good.
