Withhold Release on Giant Bikes and Parts

Im not sure how true this is, but I have read that Giant is also a CM (contract manufacturer) for Trek and Cannondale.

As far as their labor practices go....I have worked in many different industries that have products made overseas...I sure as hell would not want to work in ANY of those factories

But why Giant? Does everyone remember the mass suicides and craziness going on at the foxconn iphone plant....don't remember a shipment of iphone ever getting delayed. I mean we buy ungodly amount of products made by exploited workers, christ, its like ALL we buy....Why Giant, why now... Is it because they are a Taiwanese company? Did they forget to mail Orange Mussolini his golden bicycle? Im having a hard time believing this was a random "wellness check"

Maybe Pivot and Ibis dropped a dime on them 🙂

They are also made overseas (not sure by who) with the notable exception being the Ibis Exie which it is possible to get an American made version....But Ibis, Pivot, Trek and Specialized are still American owned companies....where as Santa Cruz, Cannondale and a bunch of other are own by Pon.
