X-King for front tire

Have anyone run this tire? I liked the Racing Ralph but they wear out fairly quick and cost a bit of cash. Small Block 8s are fast rolling but washout. I had an Ardent but felt heavy up front. I am looking for a fast roller that still has grip through the turns. Thanks for some insight.

I ran an x king front and Ralph rear for a little bit, recently flipped it for Ralph front and x king rear.

Ralph offers more grip even with the shallower knobs. This maybe because of the bigger volume 2.25 vs 2.2 x king

I'm going with a maxxis ikon next if that helps you at all

Funny. I was just thinking that. I have a set that I put on during the warm months for races and stuff but I ride Geax Sturdy (or whatever) for the wet cold months.
