They can sometimes have that look if there bits of white flew on top of the red cap. The red Amanita Muscaria (mario bros mushroom) is not found in the East Coast. But we do have the yellow variety. They can have pyschoactive properties prepared correctly.
chlorophyllum molybdites . the vomitter
the telltale sign between this and other parasol looking mushrooms is the dark (green) in the gills .. even fresh when the gills are white, you can often see a green hue
also if u see this style of mushroom growing on grass itself almost always chlorophyllum molybdites .. i’ve never seen other parasol style mushrooms growing on or near lawns

No. I guess they're golden oysters, which are supposed to be a tasty find. I like seeing them better than eating them, but the secret is out on exactly where they are.
I would be careful with those blue bruisers. There is at least 1 type that doesn't agree with my stomach. That said, I have eaten many with great success.
