This Saturday was our last trail build in 2023, we tweaked some turns on Mine Hill by opening up the radius, providing inslope, and adding grade dips before and after the turns...BOOM fun flowee sustainable trail.
Thanks to all those that came out to volunteer on trails at Perrineville this year!
We'll be back in 2024 to build more, stay tuned. Until then, ride what's there and enjoy the holidays!

We did a reroute this morning on Midway trail to avoid the wet area. If you've ridden the trail, you know the spot. Thanks @SAM , Mark, Bob, and Ken.

Come join us at the Perrineville build Wednesdays from 9am-12pm or select (3/30, 4/13, 4/27) Saturdays, 9am-12pm.

This was a win/win, removing Russian Olive (invasive) and building fun trail.

We have been doing some big digs lately in the bowl section of Mine Hill. It's been very satisfying getting these downhill turns in as it really affects the quality of the ride. The goal is to carry speed with very little braking...flow.

At the same time I wanted these turns to fit and look natural. This involved opening up the work zone, moving a lot of fill dirt to create inslope, then tie grades into surrounding elevations.

We have more work to do, I want to work the next turn further down the hill. Please come out and help if you can, we have multiple projects going on here and across the road. This place is shaping up nicely, come be a part of building this fun trail system. Currently we have 10 miles of fun flowee trail, with more trail to build.

Trail Builds; This Saturday, Build and Ride 4/27 & 5/11, 9am-12pm.
Wednesdays, 10am-1pm.
