What have you done to your bike today?

You're old enough for tape? It must have been digital anyway.

I have Super 8 and one of those reel to reel thingys with the light behind it for some of my BMX races.
They were mini DV tapes by then. I do remember stealing my moms massive VHS camcorder to film ourselves riding down stairs when I was like 8 years old. Recorded over our Disney world vacation and got my ass spanked 😆

Guess I was a little overdue for a brake bleed, that ain't coffee in that cup.

One YouTuber I follow is Paul the Punter. His videos are fun once in awhile, although 2020 seemed to dampen his spirits quite a bit and he didn't post much. Anyway, he posted recently about his 2021 plans and mentioned he has a new deal with Kenda tires and offered a discount code from their direct-online store. I was curious, so I browsed their offerings and stumbled across a tire I've been looking for: a 27.5 x 2.6 "street" tire to run on the Chameleon at places like Ray's or on asphalt pump tracks. Their Kwick Seven-5 Sport model e-bike tire. The tires arrived today. They arrived a bit distorted from shipping, but I mounted one of them up with a tube on one of my Ringle Duroc 40 wheels and the beads "popped" under pressure, so I have some hope they'll work tubeless once they tire gets comfortably being "tire shaped" again. Fully inflated, they measure a nice and even 2.5" width, so not too far off the label width.

Wow. Honestly didn't know Kenda was still around. They were hot back in the early to mid 2000s with Nevegals then seemed to disappear.

Kenda was a huge sponsor back in day, seems every race the wife and I did at plattekill, we ended up with more tires. But yeah between platt and nationals they were all over racing scene.

Did a couple things today
Washed it
installed a new stem.
cleaned the cranks and BB
Cleaned the DT Swiss hub and re-lubed the ratchets
Installed a chain guide on the POS
