I wish the CDC would be a little more clear on their website. Saw a crazy kook on the Facebook saying there were thousands of unreported deaths, quoting this:

I’m not sure where they are with investigations - but if you scroll down a bit on the page from the CDC it says just under 1,400 reports of death among people who received a vaccine. Not sure if someone got in a car accident after get jabbed and that counts or is it some other event and they happened to be on the list of getting jabbed. I haven’t been able to find any other credible source that has adverse reaction data. Haven’t looked too hard either. Either way statistically incredibly safe even if this was directly related to a jab, which it isn’t.

i work with a guy who swears that the vaccine is killing people and all that nonsense, he sent me an article about how the vaccine is a population control method designed to kill people 3-12 (i think) months after receiving it, what aload of BS, idk how these people can believe it.

the funny part is that hes generally a pretty smart guy, engineer and all, i have no clue how he can rationalize this stuff. (but then again hes also extremely religious and wont listen to anyone who has a differing opinion on that either )

My BiL is similar- trying to talk his mom out of getting her second dose.
Of course he and his wife's family weren't all that careful and had full herd immunity by Christmas.
Some got really sick and hospitalized, but no one died, so that helps reinforce the antivax sentiment.
It was great seeing pics of their 5-6 household maskless Xmas get together while the rest of us were having Zoom holidays.
Not bitter at all.
