At least make it not the most awkward size you could imagine. Make it a wallet sized card akin to an insurance card.

Even then, it’s not like you can’t just make your own. There’s no way to prove a card is legit. It’s so easy to find a black one and probably slightly harder to just print one out.
Make some anti-counterfeiting tech like holograms or something like a driver's license. It isn't a totally novel concept.
Give out the vaccine card we have now with a redemption code or something...fill out a website or by mail. 2-3 weeks later you have a real card that won't turn to dust. Boom, figured it out in 10 minutes.

The cards are out and stupid, but everyone and their mother tracks their transactions and for the most part insurance was also triggered.
I am a data analyst in the insurance field if I got asked to produce down to the social who got a colonoscopy and Viagra I could easily pinpoint that for about 80+ carriers. Covid would be no different, if there is will we could all have an app with a QR code that would dictate your vaccination status.
I don't think the short comings were accidental.

My understanding is you can still get it just not as severe. It's fine if everyone in your house is protected but if you have individuals who aren't for w.e. reason you don't want to be the person to spread it.

Very small chance of getting it and even smaller chance of transmitting it to others. Now that I'm vaccinated, my concern for covid = zero.

This whole conversation is dumb. So we’re going to force people to produce their “papers” like we’re back in the communist Eastern Block? What about those who had covid? Do they need to walk around with their labs to prove antibody levels? I’m vaccinated, but If anyone asks to show proof I’ll tell them to go fuck themselves.

Why should he care, he might care if he is in situation X out side of that use your discretion, measure your tolerance and do what you're comfortable with.
