6 Mile Run Conditions

Rather than viewing an educational/informational sign as a zero-sum proposition (Either everyone "gets it" or no one "gets it"), perhaps we ought to consider the possibility that a sign like this might help some of the population be more thoughtful in their behavior, and that has some value?

Just a thought.

This is hilarious that anyone can move the needle
This is Jersey. We can figure out a way to drill some holes and make a locking pin so the needle can be locked in the appropriate place by the trail authorities.

The bigger problem is fireproofing the sign.

Any money in the JORBA budget for a super aegis 2 robotic machine gun turret at each trail entrance?

Thinking of a morning ride tomorrow. Worth it? Think it’s going to be shit? Coming from 45 mins away, would like to know before making the trip down.

The "Wildfire Danger" signs have a padlock around me.

I'm all for a sign stating conditions, the only thing is that the majority of "offenders" of riding mud are still going to ignore it like every other sign/gate/tape we put up. My thoughts are instead of spending money on signs, just organize more trail work days like we just had(just not on Sundays because I have work then).
