Hit the road today to get some new trails and hopefully warmer weather under my belt. After a nice 6 hour drive I made it to Harrisonburg VA. Did a quick loop of new trails at night. It was spectacular!

I attempted the Stoopid 50 course in Harrisonburg Virginia today. To my surprise, most of the course was still covered in snow, ice, frost heave, or mud. It made things very difficult, but somehow I got it done. I am annihilated.

In early fall my boss gave me a choice for my holiday bonus. Either a new wheelset of my choice or sleep with his wife. Boss is such a joker.
Anyway a number of weeks go by and my order from Light Bicycle finally arrived--350s laced to 45mm internal carbon hoops with glossy 3k finish. Set them up tubeless and did a shakedown ride this morning.
Oh, we're also expecting in spring.

I saw the mobil version of Halloween decorations, parked in front of a house. A few weeks ago, these decorations were on the front lawn of the house and looked as though they were driven over by a vehicle. It kind of makes sense that a vehicle is still involved in their Halloween display.
