It does bring to mind the very long, extremely enlightening and entertaining thread from the Covid era that basically bashed the GP’s ignorance of all things 2 wheeled. If I recall correctly the consumer was soundly bashed, mocked and driven from the doors of LBS’s. Is that thread archived ?

We make fun of them in person too. However, I've leaned into the biggest new market from the Pandy Wandy and have become somewhat effecient at repairing the flood of BS DTC E-Bikes. We originally were turning them away but, they have money and are very willing to give it to me.

Eh, it’s the same story since before Covid. Covid just put it in the spotlight. There are decent shops out there that treat both new and existing customers well and there are shops that drive new customers away. A volatile market just made already bad behavior worse.
