We are staying with family in Burlington VT. I can only take off Monday because we are on spring break this week. Will be a long night driving back…and even longer Tuesday with my Freshman

Damn that makes me think to skip it. I cant stay overnight, looks like the day trip idea is bad.

What time is the rocket launch and wheres the best view from?

For a hot minute my mom wanted to drive to Burlington ... but we decided against it for a variety of reasons. Enjoy! Send pix!
 
after reading all this and the predictions about the chaotic traffic and crowds I am happy with my decision to look at everyone elses pictures online or the news and video reports. While its a cool event its more stress I dont need in my life right now.

Then I remembered we were in Myrtle Beach on vacation for the last one and it got cloudy and rainy right at the time of the eclipse. I made a custom cover for my camera lens and got a few pics but i cant find them right now.

However I did find these in my basement shelf I wonder how much I could sell them for on FBMP?

I’m wondering if I should bring some extra fuel. With so many traveling I feel like I should. I’ll have lots of food, water, bathroom supplies, tent, blankets, etc…

My guess would be day-of will be the big problem.
If you are ahead of the rush, just fill up when you get into the region.

Anyone having an emergency up there, just reach out to me. I'll send you my lk George area address - it is in diamond point,
so the northway side of the lake.
My brother may be there, or he may be staying at a friend's place in plattsburg area. doesn't matter if he is there.

Well I'll be in Lake George Saturday morning, so I plan to fill up my car and probably bring along a 5 gallon container just in case. That's enough to get me to drive north to see the eclipse and make it home. Fingers crossed...

we were in isle of palms on the beach and were bummed with the clouds then got lucky and a big opening came in and got to see it perfectly

also, i too have a pack of unused glasses haha
