I'm not sure. At full extension it has a bit of movement down. Still works ok.
I can bring it to the group ride tomorrow

That would be excellent.

I won't be able to join the group ride but I'll be starting earlier and will try to be at the parking lot at 9.

If I'm not there you can leave it on my car - gold venza with your old rack on it.
