This is a step up from a “wheel on “ dumb trainer that works with all the cycling apps using electronic resistance.

I have a beater road bike on the trainer so I don’t have to swap rear wheels or bikes but you could just get a spare wheel and trainer tire to use for indoors.

Same idea as my CycleOps/ Saris M2 which I’ve been using on zwift for a while now with no issues.

Yeah anything Wahoo is pretty much guaranteed to be compatible with all the apps. I don't believe they ever made a dumb trainer actually.

I won't be shocked if you see a wheel off trainer sink below $300 this week though. I'd hold off.

I had one. Worked without any issues. In some ways it was easier to use with my bike as I could more easily put the bike on/off if I was doing indoor/outdoor on a regular basis vs having to take off my wheel. $175 is a great price but yeah, there may be some other options out there over the next week.

I switched to the wheel off style Wahoo and it works exactly the same just much quieter and never have to worry about tire pressure or what tire is on the bike.

Holy crap lol. That's an absolute steal. I've run them on 3 bikes now and have absolutely no complains. Huge upgrade from G2's or Level's.

Evos more power and better modulation. I have both and will get another set of T4 for the crazy pricing.

Evo runs the thicker rotors... I have them on my trail bike right now. Not a huge difference imo.

Haven't used those so I can't really compare. The bite point is right between sram and Shimano, leaning more snappy than spongey. Power is slightly below codes.
